Lost Monday, called the third New Year’s Eve in Tournai and the surrounding communities, is a traditional event that takes place on the Monday following Epiphany, that is, the Monday following January 6.
This event still well established in the City of the five bell towers, is exported by the Tournai diaspora which remains very attached to Tournai folklore.

It is also maintained in the province of Antwerp (under the name of verloren maandag or verzworen maandag) as well as in the North of France, in Lille or in Douai.
